About the role :

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join Tickertape team. You would be managing Tickertape\'s social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and YouTube.

We are looking for someone who can completely own the content creation process from ideation to publishing and then measuring results. Since reels and videos are what our users want the most, we are looking at someone who can be a presenter for the video posts too.

Responsibilities:

- Be the face of our social channels by featuring in our videos

- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement

- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

- Define the most important social media KPIs & measure the success of every social media campaign

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools & applications

- Creating opportunities for conversations with the audience across social platforms

- Ensuring timely and relevant responses to customer enquiries and managing customer complaints to resolution

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or a similar role at a direct-to-consumer startup or an agency will be preferred but not mandatory. You are a perfect fit if you have your own Instagram account with more than 10k active followers.

- Experience with scripting, shooting, and featuring in videos; confident and comfortable in front of the camera

- Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms

- Excellent copywriting skills

- Knowledge of online marketing channels

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Icing on the cake would be :

- Experience with stocks and other investment products (professional/personal capacity)

- Knowledge of the finance/fintech industry, the Indian Economic Market, Stock Markets
