Position Summary:

The Slitting Operator is responsible for operating slitting machines to cut rolls of material into narrower rolls as per specifications. This role includes setup, machine operation, quality checks, and routine maintenance to ensure product quality and machine efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications and production schedule. Load master rolls onto the slitting machine and thread materials through rollers and cutters. Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished rolls for width accuracy, edge quality, and defects. Record production data including material usage, scrap, and output. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues. Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or concerns
