Opportunity

As an Assistance Manager in SLAY\'s Finance team, you will be responsible for managing and contributing to the development of the organization\'s overall strategic plan and ensuring that financial plans align with the broader strategic objectives.

Your boss

You will report into the Head of Finance at SLAY.

Your team

You will collaborate with cross functional teams from business, operations, SCM and new projects. At scale, you will ensure the smooth flow of financial plans in the organization.

Key result areas:

- Preparation of monthly budget and tracking variances

- Reviewing and keeping track of Fixed Assets transactions

- Preparation of Working Capital

- Ensuring Inventory is recorded by the team and variances are tracked regularly

- Proficient with GST applicability and GST reconciliation

- Regular reconciliation of accounts payable & accounts receivable

- Preparation of MIS

- Review of bank payments

Qualification

- Bcom, Mcom, MBA, CA (qualified or semi qualified)

- 2-5 years of experience

Skills

- Knowledge of Accounting Practices

- Proficiency in Accounting Software

- Ability to Analyse Data

- Knowledge of General Business Practices

Evaluation Process

1. Preliminary discussion with the Talent and Culture team (fitment vis-a-vis the role and the budget for the position)

2. Telephonic discussion with the Reporting Manager followed by an assignment, if necessary.

3. In person/video discussion with a panel of 2-4 team members. The panel will include potential peers and/or team members.

4. Final discussion with one of the Founders (telephonic/video/in-person)
