Site Supervisor - Government Contract Furniture Projects



:



Project Management:



Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of furniture installation projects in accordance with government contracts.

Develop project timelines, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Coordinate with project stakeholders, including government representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Government Contract Compliance:



Demonstrate a thorough understanding of government contract requirements, regulations, and compliance standards.

Ensure that all project activities adhere to government specifications and guidelines.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to support contract compliance.

Furniture Industry Expertise:



Utilize in-depth knowledge of furniture assembly, installation, and space planning to optimize project outcomes.

Collaborate with design and procurement teams to ensure that furniture specifications align with project requirements and government standards.

Supervision and Team Leadership:



Lead on-site teams, including subcontractors and installation crews, to achieve project objectives.

Provide guidance and direction to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.

Design Concept Development

: Create innovative and functional interior design concepts that align with client objectives. Develop sketches, and 3D visualizations to illustrate design ideas.

Quality Assurance:



Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that furniture installations meet or exceed government and industry standards.

Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication:



Maintain open and effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Report project status, challenges, and resolutions to senior management and government representatives.

Budget Management:



Monitor project expenses and work closely with the finance department to ensure adherence to budget constraints.

Job Specification:



Qualifications:



Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in the furniture industry.

Proven experience managing government contract furniture projects.

A Diploma/Bachelor's degree or higher in interior design.

Relevant work experience in Government projects, furniture design, interior design, commercial projects, turnkey projects, within the furniture industry

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and similar programs.

In-depth knowledge of government contract regulations and compliance standards.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret furniture specifications and drawings.

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Location: Adjacent to Kanjurmarg East Railway Station,

Mumbai, Maharashtra

(Central line area candidates preferred)
