Site Supervisor - Interiors / Fit-Out

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor for Interiors/Fit-Out is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction and installation activities related to interior projects. This role ensures that work is executed according to approved drawings, design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations. The supervisor acts as the primary link between the Project Manager, designers, contractors, and site labor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Management

Daily Supervision:

Directly oversee all day-to-day site operations, including carpentry, masonry/civil, false ceiling, flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting, and finishing work.

Drawing Interpretation:

Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate execution on-site.

Quality Control (QC):

Conduct regular and thorough inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet the project's quality standards and design specifications.

Timeline Adherence:

Monitor project progress against the established schedule and take proactive measures to mitigate delays, reporting any deviations immediately.
2. Coordination & Communication

Subcontractor/Vendor Management:

Coordinate work schedules and activities of various subcontractors, laborers, and vendors (e.g., modular furniture, HVAC, security systems).

Liaison:

Act as the primary point of contact between the site team, Project Manager, Interior Designers, and the client.

Material Management:

Oversee the scheduling, delivery, storage, and inventory of materials, ensuring the right materials are available on-site to avoid work stoppage.

Problem Resolution:

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, site conflicts, or design discrepancies promptly and collaborate with the project team to implement solutions.
3. Safety & Documentation

Safety Enforcement:

Implement and strictly enforce site-specific health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.

Reporting:

Maintain detailed daily site reports, including progress updates, material consumption, manpower attendance, issues encountered, and quality checks.

Measurements & Billing:

Verify and record accurate site measurements for work completion and vendor billing/quantity surveys.

Site Cleanliness:

Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, organized, and secure manner throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related technical field.
