Position: Site Supervisor - Post Tensioning
Reporting to: Lead- Project
Function: Execution
Educational Qualification:- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
Work experience (in years):- 5-7 years

Roles & Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day

post-tensioning activities,

including: Tendon profiling & fixing Anchorage installation Duct laying and grouting Stressing operations Ensure PT works are executed strictly as per

approved shop drawings and method statements

. Coordinate with PT subcontractors, site engineers, and structural consultants during execution. Ensure correct

tendon layout, spacing, cover, and profile

as per drawings. Check alignment and fixing of anchorages, wedges, ducts, and bursting reinforcement. Witness stressing operations and verify: Jack calibration certificates Elongation readings vs theoretical values Ensure proper grouting procedures and records are maintained. Ensure strict adherence to

safety protocols during stressing operations

. Verify safety barricading and restricted access during stressing. Ensure use of PPE by PT workers and operators. Report unsafe practices and ensure immediate corrective actions. Coordinate with: Civil execution team (slab reinforcement, shuttering) QA/QC team for inspections and approvals Planning team to meet slab cycle targets Assist in resolving site issues related to PT works and interfacing trades. Maintain PT execution records including: Stressing logs Elongation charts Grouting records Material receipt and consumption Report daily progress to Site Engineer / Project Manager. Support inspections by consultants and third-party agencies. Monitor receipt, storage, and handling of PT materials (strands, anchorages, ducts). Ensure stressing equipment and pumps are maintained and calibrated. Avoid wastage and damage of PT materials at site.


Key Skills/Experience the Candidate Should Have -
Diploma / ITI / Civil Engineering background preferred
Certification or formal training in

Post Tensioning systems

is an advantage

5-7 years of experience

in post tensioning works
Hands-on experience in: Residential, commercial, or podium slabs, Flat slab and beam-slab PT systems
Experience working with reputed PT agencies is preferred
Strong understanding of:PT drawings and details Stressing and grouting procedures Slab sequencing and coordination Ability to read and interpret structural drawings Basic documentation and reporting skills

Good site coordination and communication skills
Strong attention to quality and safety
Ability to work under tight slab cycle timelines
