We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our interior construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the on-site leader, coordinating with all stakeholders, managing work crews, and ensuring strict adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Coordination
o Oversee all on-site activities and manage the daily workflow of construction teams, labourers, and subcontractors.
o Serve as the primary on-site point of contact, coordinating effectively with Project Managers, Architects, Designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
o Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the project plans, design specifications, and contractual documents.
Quality Control
o Conduct regular inspections of the work to guarantee it meets our firm's rigorous quality standards and the client's expectations.
o Identify and rectify any defects or deviations from the design, ensuring a flawless finish.
Timeline and Budget Management
o Enforce all health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for everyone.
o Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks, ensuring all personnel comply with safety regulations.
Material and Resource Management:
o Coordinate the timely procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment.
o Manage on-site inventory to prevent shortages or wastage, ensuring resources are available as needed.
Communication and Reporting:
o Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the on-site team, the design office, contractors, and the client.
o Prepare and maintain detailed daily site reports, progress logs, and other necessary documentation.
Problem Solving:
o Act as the first responder to any on-site issues, challenges, or conflicts.
o Analyze problems and implement effective solutions with minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Experience
minimum of [e.g., 3-5] years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role, specifically within the interior design or high-end residential/commercial construction industry.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of interior construction methods, materials, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works, and finishing details. Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
Leadership Skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of workers and subcontractors.
