Job Description

Supervise and direct daily construction activities, including concrete work, masonry, plastering, finishing, and other general building tasks. Ensure all work is performed as per approved drawings and instructions. Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report any potential delays. Assign tasks to site laborers, skilled workers, and sub-contractors. Ensure efficient utilization of manpower and maintain discipline on site. Address basic labor issues and conflicts, escalating complex matters to management. Conduct regular checks on the quality of work being performed to meet standards. Ensure proper materials are used and installed correctly. Identify and report any defects or quality concerns to the Project Manager/Engineer. Enforce all company safety rules and regulations on site. Ensure all workers use necessary safety equipment (PPE) like helmets, safety shoes, etc. Identify potential hazards and take immediate steps to prevent accidents. Conduct daily safety briefings (toolbox talks) with the site team. Report any accidents or incidents promptly. Monitor the usage of construction materials and minimize wastage. Coordinate with the storekeeper or procurement team for timely availability of materials. Oversee the proper handling and maintenance of site tools and equipment. Maintain daily site records, including work progress, labor attendance, and material usage. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, engineers, and other team members. Report any site challenges, issues, or requirements to management for resolution.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
