Position Overview

GVQ Design Studio is seeking an experienced and motivated

Site Supervisor

to oversee our construction sites and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Supervisor will play a vital role in the execution of our designs, ensuring that each project reflects our company's commitment to excellence and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management:

Supervise all site activities, including monitoring and coordinating workers, subcontractors, and site operations to ensure projects are completed as per design specifications and timelines.

Quality Assurance:

Enforce quality control standards by conducting regular site inspections and ensuring work aligns with architectural plans, specifications, and best practices.

Safety Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, conducting safety briefings and regular inspections to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Manage and allocate site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and productivity while minimizing waste. Serve as the primary on-site contact, liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to provide updates on project progress, challenges, and changes. Address and resolve on-site issues proactively to prevent delays and maintain workflow, including making decisions about work methods and schedules. Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, material usage, workforce attendance, safety checks, and progress reports for management review.

, or a related field. Minimum of

0-2 years of experience

in a supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably in residential or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.

Key Skills and Attributes

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to problem-solve and make quick, informed decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of construction management software is an advantage. Physically fit and willing to work in dynamic site environments.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
