Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all site operations, including material handling, loading, and unloading.
Ensure proper placement, stacking, and securing of loads to prevent damage or injury.
Schedule and direct the work of laborers, drivers, and subcontractors as needed.
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
Monitor equipment usage and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
Enforce site safety standards and conduct regular safety briefings.
Communicate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and dispatches.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, materials used, and daily site activities.
Identify and resolve issues that may cause delays or safety hazards.
Provide training to staff on proper loading techniques and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a supervisor in a logistics, warehouse, or construction setting.
Strong understanding of safe loading practices and site operations.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Proficient in basic computer applications and reporting.
Forklift or heavy equipment certification (preferred).
Work Conditions:
Outdoor/field environment with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing may be required.
Standard workweek with occasional overtime, weekends, or night shifts.
