Identifying and communicating safety concerns to workers to ensure an accident-free workplace
Managing the construction project schedule to ensure that deadlines are met
Overseeing the work of other supervisors and providing direction as needed
Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed on the job site at all times
Maintaining good communication with all parties involved in the project, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Reviewing contractor bids and making recommendations to management regarding which bids should be accepted
Ensuring that all materials are delivered to the site according to schedule using computer-based tools such as spreadsheets or project management software
Monitoring the work being done by subcontractors to ensure that they are performing up to company standards
Managing the budget for the project and making adjustments as necessary to stay within the cost parameters
