Lead and supervise cleaning/hygiene staff at the site.
Assign daily/weekly cleaning tasks and manage shift schedules.
Inspect all cleaned areas (floors, restrooms, common areas, waste disposal) to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with safety standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, PPE and equipment; issue supplies to staff; reorder when needed.
Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning procedures, use of equipment, hygiene protocols, safety and waste disposal.
Handle complaints or hygiene-related issues, coordinate corrective actions as needed.
Keep records: attendance, cleaning logs, supply usage, maintenance issues, hygiene audits.
Skills / Qualities Required:
Leadership and good communication / people-management skills.
Knowledge or willingness to learn cleaning procedures, sanitation, waste-management, hygiene & safety protocols.
Ability to organise, schedule staff, coordinate operations, and respond to problems.
Attention to detail, reliability, sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work shifts / different time-slots (morning, day, or as required).
Basic documentation / record-keeping skills.
