Job Purpose

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for

on-site execution, supervision, and coordination

of fire safety system installation projects, ensuring work is completed

as per drawings, specifications, safety norms, and timelines

.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision Supervise day-to-day installation of fire fighting systems such as: Fire hydrant systems Sprinkler systems Fire alarm systems (as applicable) Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications Monitor productivity of technicians, fitters, and helpers on site

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives Maintain daily work progress reports and site records Inform management of material requirements, shortages, or site issues

Quality & Compliance

Ensure installations meet fire safety standards and local authority requirements Conduct basic quality checks during installation Assist during inspections, testing, and commissioning activities

Safety & Discipline

Enforce safety practices at site and ensure use of PPE Maintain discipline and proper conduct of workforce at site Report any unsafe practices or incidents immediately

Material Handling

Monitor material usage and prevent wastage Assist in material receipt, storage, and issue at site

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / ITI / relevant technical qualification (preferred) Minimum

2-5 years of site experience

in fire fighting or MEP projects Practical knowledge of fire safety systems installation Ability to read basic drawings and layouts Good communication and coordination skills Willingness to work at project sites and flexible hours if required

Preferred Attributes

Experience in high-rise, commercial, or industrial projects Familiarity with fire safety norms and inspections Hands-on, problem-solving attitude
