Job Description

A Site Supervisor manages daily construction project operations, overseeing workers and subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring progress, and coordinating resources to keep the project on schedule, budget, and quality standards, acting as the key link between management, workers, and stakeholders. Key duties involve site inspections, enforcing safety rules, resolving issues, managing materials, and reporting updates. Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

Instruct, guide, and evaluate construction workers and subcontractors, managing daily tasks and performance.

Health & Safety:

Enforce safety regulations, conduct hazard identification, provide safety training, and manage incident response.

Project Coordination:

Interpret blueprints, schedule work, manage materials and equipment, and ensure work meets specifications and deadlines.

Communication:

Liaise with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers, providing progress reports and recommendations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate site logs, attendance records, and reports.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety standards (e.g., first aid). Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Typical Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role in construction. Relevant education (e.g., Civil Engineering, Construction Management) or certifications.
