Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities at the site (LV/MV works, cabling, panels, lighting, earthing, etc.). Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines. Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, consultants, and other trades to avoid clashes and delays. Monitor manpower deployment and productivity of electricians and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company safety policies, and statutory regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices at the site. Inspect materials delivered to site and ensure proper storage and usage. Identify and report site issues, discrepancies, and potential risks to the Project Engineer/Manager. Maintain daily site records, work progress reports, and material consumption reports. Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. Ensure quality control checks and rectify defects or non-conformities.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 5-8 years of relevant experience in electrical site supervision. Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, standards, and installation practices.
Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of electrical systems and site execution methods. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and BOQs. Strong supervisory and coordination skills. Knowledge of electrical safety norms and local authority regulations. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports, emails). Good communication and team-handling skills
