A Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day construction activities to ensure that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The position involves supervising workers and subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols, coordinating site operations, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and communicating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Project Management
Supervise daily site operations and track progress against the approved schedule and budget.
Plan, coordinate, and allocate work to laborers and subcontractors for seamless execution.
Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials.

Safety & Compliance
Implement and enforce site safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, halting work when necessary to prevent accidents.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Quality Control
Inspect ongoing and completed works to ensure alignment with project specifications and quality benchmarks.
Review technical drawings and blueprints to confirm compliance.
4.
Team Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate site personnel, delegating responsibilities effectively.
Resolve on-site challenges and maintain discipline and teamwork among workers.
5.
Communication & Reporting
Clearly communicate project goals, timelines, and expectations to the site team.
Coordinate with clients, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Prepare detailed daily and weekly site reports, including progress updates and photographic documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering and/or completion of a recognized construction management program.
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in a construction environment for at least 5 years.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
Familiarity with modern construction equipment and practices.
