Are you interested in cutting edge cloud technologies, ready to dirt your hands in the cloud world Do you like to be part of a core team with industry leading site reliability engineering standards What You Will Do Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic site reliability engineer with hands-on experience in cloud computing If so, our Trimble cloud core platform division is looking for people like you to join our dynamic SRE team. You will join Trimble cloud core platform team to work on provisioning and operating our core engineering services in the public cloud. Articulate technical characteristics of services and technology areas and guide development teams to engineer and add capabilities to internal tools. Quickly grasp and analyze new or new-to-you systems that are complex and rapidly changing. Investigate, evaluate and prototype service offerings from infrastructure providers across the public cloud and different tools Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies. Develop automation and monitoring solutions Utilize best practices in cloud security and operations Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. Foster collaboration with software product development, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure releases are delivered with repeatable and auditable processes Define capacity planning, design cost controls and rollout the cost optimization strategy Learn and be passionate about cloud computing Responsible for fixing compliance issues and requirements raised by SecOps tools Responsible for optimizing cost across cloud platforms,logging and monitoring tools What Skills & Experience You Should Bring Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Computer Engineering, or related field 3+ years of strong experience with demonstrably deep AWS knowledge and related DevOps technologies Should have hands-on experience in Cloud Gateways (AWS API Gateway/Azure API Management) Should have hands-on experience in Serverless architecture implementation. Excellent understanding of API and integration design patterns & best practices Must have strong knowledge of scalability, security, logging, auditing, policy management, performance monitoring, and KPIs for end-to-end process execution. Understanding of api security and mitigation Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline / Deploy / Build. Infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation or SAM Config management using Chef, Ansible and Create Golden Images using Packer or similar Familiarity and experience with architectural design Experience with scripting and automated process management via scripting, such as Shell and Python Must have knowledge on Disaster Recovery strategies to ensure infrastructure/application is highly reliable. Must have familiarity on code branching strategies in any repository tools like bitbucket, github. Should have Experience with any monitoring tools like SumoLogic, DataDog , ELK , InfluxDB , Grafana, etc. Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backups, and restores of different environments Certification from AWS/Azure is an added advantage.
