KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To lead operational Site Planning team(s) on a daily basis in all facets.

To create an optimal design for a hospital department or room and to create a complete technical specification for that hospital room. These are created to support optimal installation, usage and maintenance of the medical equipment. Projects concern the single modality of the planner\xe2\x80\x99s expertise.

To produces these deliverables to the agreed timelines and the agreed quality standards.

To perform various forms of site planning technical support, including answering questions from the field relative to drawings, site planning specifications, site research or product research.

To coach less experienced colleagues to raise their knowledge level and to guarantee the quality of these projects.

To develop, deploy, manage and/or improve site planning processes, standards, tools and infrastructures

To introduce New Product Introductions into the team to assure up to date and correct site planning.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Performs, as Site Planning & Drawing Officer, assignments that require consultation of specialists to get a clear view on WHAT has to be delivered and that require analysis of the available data in order to decide HOW to best carry out the assignment.

Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting data.

Finds solutions on the basis of theoretical insights and experience for deviating situations.

Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Drafts limited improvement projects within a unit and introduces new supporting process activities.

Dimensions related to Know-How, Complexity, and Accountability:

Has a specialized level of skill to perform analysis as part of assigned tasks.

Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Specialized theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization to contribute to optimization of processes.

The tasks to be performed are such that they cannot be made without advance consultation of specialists.

Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting data.

Takes a perspective to problems and spots less obvious solutions.

Duration of assignment is typically a few months.

Finds solutions on the basis of theoretical insight and experience for deviating situations.

Identifies the problem and some relevant issues in deviating situations, analyses each, using standard procedures, and co-decides. Own interpretation regarding assignments, based on own calculations and coordinates implementation of changes.

Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Typically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisor.

Has adequate freedom to act to determine HOW to solve occurring issues.

Sets priorities for own work and co-workers.

Education & Training

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree -Specialized training (preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Lean, Operational Excellence and 6 Sigma
