Site Management:

Oversee the operational activities at farm sites, ensuring that all agricultural practices are carried out according to company guidelines and industry best practices.

Coordinating with Farmers:

Act as the primary point of contact for farmers and field teams, offering guidance on operational processes, providing technical support, and ensuring that farming activities are optimized for productivity and quality.

Implementation of Agricultural Practices:

Assist with the implementation of farming protocols, ensuring that all practices are aligned with sustainability goals, quality standards, and crop-specific requirements for fruits and vegetables.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Regularly monitor the site's operational performance, including crop health, productivity, and adherence to timelines. Report key metrics and insights to senior management and suggest improvements as needed.

Inventory Management:

Assist in managing farm inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and tools, ensuring that the site has an adequate supply for operations.

Training & Development:

Support the training and development of field teams and farmers, ensuring that they are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge on new farming techniques, technologies, and safety protocols.

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:

Quickly address any operational challenges or issues on-site, such as pest management, irrigation, or crop diseases, and provide effective solutions to minimize disruption to the farming process.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

Ensure that all on-site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote sustainable farming practices and assist with risk management.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work closely with the technical, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure seamless communication and that farming activities align with the company's goals.



INTERNAL: Coordinate with the pack?house and procurement/ production teams to ensure supply?chain alignment, translate farmer output into supply plans, report farm performance, manage quality and logistics, and align raw?material supply with production demand.
EXTERNAL : Engage with farmers and FPOs -- conducting on?farm visits, guiding cultivation practices, disseminating best?practice agronomy techniques, organizing trainings, and gathering field?level data and feedback.

Knowledge

: Knowledge of agronomy, especially vegetable crop cultivation, soil health, irrigation, and pest/ disease management. Understanding of sustainable and modern farming techniques and agricultural technologies. Awareness of agro?climatic conditions, soil types, and their impact on crop performance. Ability to evaluate and interpret farm?level data (yield, soil, crop performance) for informed decision?making.
SKILLS: o Knowledge of agronomy practices, particularly in the vegetables.
o Strong liaising skills, with the ability to manage farmer to ensure daily farm activities and troubleshoot issues effectively.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
o Understanding of product requirement & ensure quality supply.

o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
