Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in site work within the power plant industry. The ideal candidate will possess good knowledge of mechanical systems in Power plant, vendor development, and CAD software proficiency. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

Oversee mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities at power plant sites. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications.

Vendor Development:

Identify and cultivate relationships with vendors and suppliers of mechanical equipment and components. Evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and maintain quality standards.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of site work projects. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

CAD Design Support:

Utilize CAD software to review and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Provide technical support and input for design modifications and improvements.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of activities, including project documentation, inspection reports, and progress updates. Generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders and management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in site work within the power plant industry. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design and analysis.

Pay: ?180,000.00 - ?300,000.00 per year
