Job Summary:

The Erection Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing the erection and installation of structural, mechanical, or PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) components at project sites. The role involves managing manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure timely, safe, and quality completion of erection activities as per project specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise erection and installation activities at the site. Review and interpret structural and mechanical drawings, erection plans, and technical documents. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bolting/welding of structural members during erection. Coordinate with fabrication, logistics, and civil teams for smooth project execution. Manage and monitor site manpower, including subcontractors and skilled labor. Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and quality standards during erection. Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption, and manpower deployment records. Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during erection and provide practical solutions. Attend site coordination meetings and update project status to the Project Manager. Inspect and verify all erection work against drawings and specifications before handover.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

2-6 years (for mid-level) in Erection / Structural / PEB industry.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of PEB / structural erection sequence and alignment. Familiarity with cranes, lifting tackles, and erection equipment. Ability to read and interpret GA drawings and fabrication drawings. Knowledge of safety practices and erection procedures.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities. Good communication and reporting skills. Problem-solving and decision-making capability under site conditions.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel and stay at project sites for extended durations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Working knowledge of MS Office and basic AutoCAD preferred.

Pay: ₹12,496.29 - ₹36,562.67 per month
