Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for an Site Manager in Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia to be part of our global team working together towards our vision \xe2\x80\x93 Improving our future. As our Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all day to day construction activities, implement high on-site quality standards, ensure all personnel and contractors maintain high HSE standards, and monitor & report progress.


Main responsibilities

• Manage the following key project disciplines at site, Health and Safety, Environmental management, logistics and warehouse, Quality Control, Document control of all quality documentation, Progress measurement of site activities and Community Liaison (Grievances); ensure the project is being executed within the contractual requirements and proactively assist the Construction Team
• Manage SSO on site teams, responsible to plan and coordinate Scatec Solar resources at site, control extra hours, rotations, commuting (daily to site / rotation), take actions on deviation of conduct, performance evaluation reviews
• Main point of contact with the Contractors at site, responsible to lead daily and weekly meetings, coordinate the sequence of the construction activities with the support of supervisors
• Represent the SSO (as EPC) in Community meetings as part of stakeholder engagement commitments as requested supporting the CLO, Unions, Local Police, Schools, Environmental and governmental related audits at site
• Organize and host visits at site, including support with the logistics to arrive at site safely, prepare agenda and person from SSO team to follow the visitor during the stay at site
• Manage close out phase at site, contractor\xe2\x80\x99s demobilization, onboarding of O&M team and handover of activities

Qualifications and competencies

• Technical or Administration Education (Degree in Construction Management or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering)
• Project Management Education and Specialization in Solar and/or renewables will be a plus
• Good technical knowledge
• An excellent knowledge of MS Office
• 8+ years working experience in a construction project environment \xe2\x80\x93 supervisory/ management role
• 2+ years working with EPC projects
• Fluent both written and spoken in English, French and Arabic
• Driver license
