About the Role




We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic

Site Manager

to lead a large team of IT maintenance and support personnel at a major airport site. In this role, you will ensure uninterrupted delivery of mission-critical airport IT systems and services, including CUPPS, CUSS, SBD, AOS, and other aviation infrastructure. As the primary customer liaison, you will be accountable for operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and the proactive management of all onsite technical operations.


This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a blend of technical expertise, people management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure 24x7x365 availability of systems essential to airport and airline operations.

Key Responsibilities



Lead, mentor, and manage a large on-site IT support and maintenance team, fostering a proactive, customer-focused environment. Serve as the

single point of contact

for all operational and technical matters across a wide range of airline and airport authority stakeholders. Ensure continuous operation and optimal performance of all airport IT systems including CUPPS, CUSS, SBD, Bag Messaging, AODB, RMS, Biometrics, FIDS, Security Gates, and other infrastructure. Oversee 24x7x365 staff scheduling, shift management, and on-site personnel administration including hiring, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and promotions. Review technical and support specifications; propose improvements to maximize customer value and SLA compliance. Interface with customer and corporate leadership to communicate performance metrics, project statuses, incidents, and operational risks. Lead incident response and recovery for critical system outages, ensuring minimal disruption to flight and passenger operations. Develop, document, and implement on-site policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure staff readiness and compliance. Conduct regular performance reviews with airline and airport customers; present reports on service levels, system reliability, and improvement opportunities. Promote a culture of

continuous improvement

and implement

quality control programs

to raise the bar on service delivery.

Required Qualifications



10+ years

of experience in airport operations or IT service delivery in aviation environments. Proven,

hands-on expertise

with critical airport systems, including:

+ CUPPS, CUSS, SBD, AODB, AOS, RMS, Bag Messaging, Biometrics, FIDS, and Security Gates.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field oran equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong project management capabilities with a track record of coordinating complex technical projects in live operational environments. Demonstrated leadership in personnel and performance management with experience in team building and staff development. Exceptional communication skills--able to engage with stakeholders from front-line staff to senior executive levels. Crisis management experience with the ability to lead teams during high-pressure outages affecting flight operations. Familiarity with SLAs, ITIL processes, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications



PMP, ITIL, or similar project/service management certifications. Experience with Collins Aerospace, SITA, or other major aviation IT system providers. Prior experience managing multi-vendor, multi-airline technical environments. Experience in developing and conducting end-user training and documentation.
