The Site Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire safety, security, ELV, and Building Management Systems (BMS) at the site. This role requires a skilled individual who can manage on-site technical activities, ensure project timelines are met, and comply with safety and regulatory requirements while delivering top-notch service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Site Supervision:
Manage the daily operations at the site, overseeing installations, commissioning, and maintenance of
fire safety, security, ELV, and BMS systems.
Plan, allocate, and supervise on-site activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory standards during installation and maintenance work.
Technical Oversight:
Conduct regular inspections and tests on
fire safety, security systems, CCTV, Access control, FAS, PAS and BMS systems to ensure optimal functionality
.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems to avoid downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for necessary equipment, tools, and materials required on-site.
Team Management and Coordination:
Lead, train, and manage a team of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring all personnel are informed of their roles and responsibilities.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, assign tasks, and address issues promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work schedules, materials used, and labour hours.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager/Operations Manager.
Document any incidents, challenges, or delays on-site and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on project progress.
Collaborate with other departments to align on project goals, timelines, and specifications.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Ensure that all installations meet quality standards, project specifications, and industry regulations.
Stay updated on advancements in fire safety, security, ELV, and BMS technologies and integrates best practices on-site.
Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years in
a supervisory or site management role within fire safety, security, ELV, or BMS systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, BMS, and other ELV systems.
Strong understanding of industry standards safety protocols.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Problem-solving ability with a focus on detail and quality.
