Job Description

Monitor daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per design, drawings, and specifications. Supervise and guide site workers, subcontractors, and junior staff. Client Coordination Maintain discipline, safety, and quality at the site.

Planning & Coordination

Plan daily/weekly work schedules and allocate tasks to workers. Coordinate with project manager, engineers, vendors, and contractors for smooth workflow. Ensure material availability and proper utilization of resources.

Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure construction quality standards are met as per company and client requirements. Implement safety measures, conduct toolbox talks, and prevent accidents at the site. Report and resolve defects, rework issues, or non-conformance.

Material & Resource Management

Monitor material usage and prevent wastage. Raise requests for material and equipment as per project needs. Maintain stock records, verify deliveries, and handle site inventory.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain site records, daily progress reports, labor attendance, and material consumption reports. Report project status, delays, and issues to higher management. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and statutory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people management skills. Good knowledge of construction techniques, drawings, and safety standards. Ability to handle pressure and solve site-related problems. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Reporting software).

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred). 5-8 years of experience in construction site supervision/management. Experience in Industrial residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects (as per company need).
