Roles and Responsibilities

1. Coordination with Stakeholders

Coordinate with civil and interior teams to ensure proper interface between architectural and MEP elements. Collaborate with MEP consultants, vendors, and in-house design teams to resolve on-site technical issues. Ensure smooth sequencing of work between MEP and interior activities to prevent rework or clashes.

2. Quality Control & Testing

Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to approved materials, fixtures, and installation standards. Conduct periodic inspections and prepare snag lists for all MEP systems. Supervise testing and commissioning (T&C) of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

3. Material & Vendor Management

Monitor material consumption and raise timely requisitions for MEP supplies and fittings. Verify vendor deliveries, component quality, and coordinate logistics and storage at the site. Track and manage labor deployment for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing vendors.

4. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain detailed site records including daily progress reports, inspection checklists, and handover documents. Escalate project delays, deviations, or technical concerns to the Project Manager and MEP Coordinator. Ensure proper documentation of as-built drawings and MEP T&C reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. 5-10 years of experience in MEP site execution and coordination. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, and quality standards. Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
