JOB DECRIPTION - SITE INCHARGE - ETP/STP

Plant Operations:

Monitor and control the day-to-day operations of the ETP and STP to ensure treated water meets quality standards.

Maintenance and Repair:

Perform both routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on plant equipment, filters, and tanks.

Chemical Handling:

Manage the safe handling, storage, and dosing of chemicals required for the treatment process.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all operations comply with safety protocols and environmental regulations. Conduct inspections and maintain cleanliness to high standards.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all plant activities, including daily operations, maintenance, and chemical consumption.

Team Management:

Supervise and guide on-site staff, manage their schedules, and ensure they are properly trained for their tasks.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular reports on plant performance, site activities, and maintenance to senior management.

Resource Management:

Procure necessary materials and resources and manage site operations within the allocated budget.

Troubleshooting:

Promptly identify and resolve operational issues or breakdowns.

Required skills and qualifications

Experience in the operations and maintenance of ETP/STP plants.

Technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication, both written and verbal.

A commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Relevant qualifications, often a degree or diploma in a science or engineering field, are preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
