Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Incharge (Civil) to oversee the execution of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) projects in Odisha. The role requires hands-on experience in civil construction, project management, and site supervision with a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

Supervise and manage civil construction activities at the site for STP and ETP projects.

Monitor day-to-day operations, including earthwork, RCC structures, pipeline installations, and structural work.

Ensure compliance with design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.

Conduct site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Project Execution:

Plan and schedule work activities to meet project deadlines.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and the project management team to ensure smooth execution.

Maintain and update project documentation, including daily progress reports, labor records, and material usage.

Assist in resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

Quality Assurance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements at the site.

Conduct quality checks to ensure that construction meets industry standards and project specifications.

Report non-compliance or deviations to the project management team and implement corrective actions.

Communication & Coordination:

Liaise with consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical queries.

Act as the primary point of contact for on-site teams and contractors.

Prepare and submit progress reports to the project manager and higher management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

4-5 years of experience in civil construction, specifically in STP and ETP projects.

Skills:

Proficiency in civil construction techniques, RCC structures, and water-retaining systems.

Strong knowledge of project management tools and methods.

Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team management.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software is a plus.
