Job Overview:
Surya Electronics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician specializing in
Signaling and Development services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the
installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of signaling systems,
telecommunication equipment, and related infrastructure. The position demands hands-on
work at various railway stations, and development projects, ensuring seamless, safe, and
exf4x80x86xaficient operations in line with Indian Railways' standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance:
o Install and maintain signaling systems, track circuits, interlocking systems,
signals, and associated equipment at field locations.
o Perform routine maintenance and testing of signaling devices and
telecommunication networks to ensure they meet safety and operational
standards.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
o Identify faults in signaling and communication systems and take immediate
corrective actions to minimize disruption to services.
o Perform field repairs, calibrations, and adjustments on signaling and
telecommunication systems as needed.
Development & Upgrades:
o Support the installation and commissioning of new signaling and
telecommunication systems as part of development projects.
o Collaborate with development teams in upgrading existing signaling systems
to modern technologies for improved exf4x80x86xaficiency.
Safety Compliance:
o Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to safety protocols, Indian
Railways guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
o Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments at work sites.
Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including installations,
repairs, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in railway signaling, telecommunication,
or similar technical fields.
o Hands-on experience with signaling devices, track circuits, and
communication systems used in the railway industry
