We are now looking for a Site Engineer with high level of competence in Site Engineering domain and is responsible for following: work as team leader, perform professional and efficient services related to SITE Engineering, ensure prompt flow of SITE Engineering information and documents, follow guidelines and rules of SITE Engineering process, participate and follow up with on-going technical developments with respect to standards, products and techniques within SITE Engineering process, motivate and support Engineers, as well as lead them towards their own professional development according to Ericsson\xe2\x80\x99s policies and values.

You will

  • To prepare Site Survey Checklists as per the Project Requirements.
  • To conduct Site Surveys, if required.
  • To prepare Site layouts and revise them to reflect actual implementation.
  • To prepare A-package project files.
  • To re-check the A-package project files at order preparation.
  • To prepare Site survey reports.
  • To prepare Site Installation documentation and, if required, revise it to reflect the actual implementation.
  • To prepare Site specific C-modules and, if required, revise it to reflect the actual implementation.
  • PDI & Development of New products related to SITE installation.
  • To train ASP teams, ARP teams and to Mentor New resources on SITE Engineering Activities.
  • Resource planning of survey teams ARP/other resources as per project forecast and maintain required work force during roll out stage.
  • Sourcing and ASP\xe2\x80\x99s engagement to fulfill the competent resource demand, tracking and close coordination.
  • To Ensure competent resource fulfillment towards project and escalate to sourcing if required at any stage in advance.
  • To motivate and support resources and guide them towards their own professional development according to agreed goals and business needs.
  • Close coordination between Ericsson Project/RF/Tx/Technical team and customer
  • Interact with Customer, NRO Team, NDO for site engineering related activities at each stage.
  • To maintain continuous communication and co-operation with peers in other Ericsson regions and HQ (PRS, SCC etc.).
  • To continuously develop own abilities and expand / update knowledge in area of Radio site engineering.
  • To update SITE Engineering Documents in Site Handler.
  • To respond to technical queries related to SITE engineering.
  • To respond to RFP\xe2\x80\x99s and RFQ\xe2\x80\x99s in pre-tendering phase.
  • To co-ordinate with RF, Implementation, Quality and Project team during rollouts.
  • To contribute in Knowledge sharing community.
  • To prepare monthly reports & updates project trackers in respect to SITE engineering activities.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Telecommunication / Electronics or Equivalent Experience.
  • Product knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 SITE and Broadband products
  • Knowledge of SITE Engineering system structure and concepts.
  • Good presentation & communication skills.
  • Customer orientation.
  • Ericsson knowledge
  • Fluency in verbal & written English.
  • Perceived as a guide by co-operating team members.
  • Good understanding of ITU recommendations.
  • Acceptance and adaptability to change.
  • Team Building
