Role Overview
The Site Engineer / Project Executive will oversee day-to-day site execution activities for the progress and completion of interior projects.
This role demands efficiency in handling vendors and labor, ensuring design adherence, quality, and safety at a micro level. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and execute interior works at the site as per approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with interior designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
Monitor and manage site labor, materials, and daily work progress.
Ensure all site activities are carried out in adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Review and interpret technical drawings, schedules, and specifications.
Maintain daily site reports, work schedules, and progress tracking.
Handle site measurements and material calculations.
Assist in procurement planning and follow-ups with suppliers.
Provide technical input and suggest improvements for better efficiency and quality.
Resolve on-site technical issues and escalate when necessary. Expertise and Qualifications
Bachelor's / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in interior fit-out or site execution.
Good understanding of interior finishes (carpentry, false ceiling, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior design drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools (preferred).
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and teamwork abilities.
Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.
Knowledge of local vendors, materials, and contractors in Chennai.
Fluency in Tamil and English (Hindi is a plus).
Flexibility to travel across project sites in and around Chennai.
