Supervision and quality control:

Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and documents for the project team and construction workers.

Resource management:

Estimate resource needs, manage mechanical work groups, and assist project managers in meeting project goals.

Problem-solving:

Identify and resolve mechanical issues, design deficiencies, installation errors, or equipment malfunctions as they arise on the construction site.

Safety and compliance:

Ensure all mechanical activities comply with project specifications, health, safety, and environmental regulations, and client requirements.

Documentation and reporting:

Maintain project documentation, including mechanical drawings, specifications, and testing records. Provide progress reports to project managers.

Coordination:

Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to develop and implement effective project plans and schedules. Assist with the procurement of mechanical equipment.

Inspections:

Conduct periodic inspections of mechanical installations and equipment to ensure they are installed and functioning correctly.
Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience in mechanical system design, installation, and site activities for Hydro power projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, project specifications, and relevant codes. Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software is often required. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Minimum Experience required 5 Years.
