We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day activities at industrial construction sites in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring project execution as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily site activities related to industrial construction projects
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure smooth execution
Monitor material usage, manpower allocation, and site progress
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control at all stages of construction
Prepare daily work reports and update project status to senior engineers/management
Ensure adherence to safety norms and company policies at the site
Resolve site-related technical issues efficiently
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering or related field
3-6 years of experience in
industrial construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Good communication and coordination skills
Willingness to work on-site and manage multiple activities
