A Site Engineer is responsible for the overall technical and managerial supervision of a construction site. They act as the link between the design team, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure that construction activities are executed as per design, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Management & Supervision
Lead, guide, and monitor site supervisors and workforce.
Plan daily/weekly site activities and allocate tasks efficiently.
Ensure that site works are carried out according to the schedule.
2. Technical Oversight
Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Verify technical drawings for discrepancies before execution.
Ensure adherence to construction specifications, codes, and standards.
3. Quantity Surveying & BOQ
Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.
Conduct material quantity take-offs and estimates.
Assist in cost planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
4. Coordination & Communication
Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve site issues.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely material delivery.
Provide regular progress updates to project managers/clients.
5. Quality & Safety Control
Implement and monitor quality control procedures on site.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Enforce site safety practices and risk management measures.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain site records, daily logs, and material usage reports.
Track project progress against timelines and budgets.
Prepare reports on variations, delays, and cost impacts.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
