Duties and Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations at the construction site to ensure smooth progress. Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to complete tasks on time.

Planning and Execution:

Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities to meet deadlines. Interpret and implement construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment on site.

Quality Assurance and Safety:

Conduct quality checks at various stages of construction. Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Address any on-site issues or discrepancies promptly.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate daily progress reports and work logs. Document any changes in project plans and update the project manager accordingly. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to higher authorities.

Communication and Coordination:

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and management to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate effectively with the project manager and other stakeholders regarding progress and challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in site engineering or construction management (preferred).

Skills:

Project management and site supervision Knowledge of construction techniques and materials Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Good communication and teamwork skills
