The Site Engineer is a critical on-ground role responsible for ensuring flawless execution of architectural and interior design plans. The role requires proactive planning, precision in implementation, and seamless coordination with design and execution teams to ensure that client-approved drawings are translated into high-quality built environments. This role also serves as a communication bridge between the on-site team and the core studio, helping mitigate conflicts and prevent design deviations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drawing Execution
Implement site work strictly in line with approved architectural / interior drawings.
Conduct precise site measurements before beginning execution.
Identify and resolve technical or practical execution issues in real-time.
2. Site Work Planning
Prepare and communicate next-day execution plans.
Coordinate manpower and materials for uninterrupted work.
Track daily progress and proactively address on-site constraints.
3. Conflict & Issue Management
Handle and resolve daily on-site conflicts involving labor, vendors, or teams.
Identify and report discrepancies between approved designs and actual execution.
Escalate issues to design/project teams with timely feedback.
4. Stock & Material Management
Maintain accurate material stock records and consumption logs.
Raise timely requisitions to ensure material availability.
Monitor usage to prevent losses or wastage.
5. Cross-Team Coordination
Serve as the
Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
for all site-level communication.
Coordinate between design teams, contractors, vendors, and supervisors.
Share technical inputs, progress updates, and changes clearly and promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Architecture.
2-4 years of experience in site execution, preferably in interior or architectural projects.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
Skilled in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic project tracking tools.
Strong site management, issue-resolution, and reporting skills.
Excellent team coordination and communication abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
Detail-oriented with a high focus on execution quality.
Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Strong documentation and site reporting discipline.
Willingness to travel and manage multiple site locations
