Job Description

A PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) Site Engineer in Fabrication & Erection oversees the on-site construction of steel structures, ensuring work is completed according to design, budget, and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include site supervision, coordination with contractors and clients, managing project resources, preparing documentation, and resolving technical or logistical issues to ensure quality and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight:

Directs and supervises daily site activities, ensuring work aligns with project plans, drawings, and specifications.

Coordination:

Acts as the main point of contact, coordinating with clients, contractors, design teams, and internal departments (purchase, production) to resolve issues and facilitate progress.

Technical Expertise:

Provides technical advice to subcontractors and verifies the correct implementation of structural layouts and assembly of components.

Safety Management:

Enforces safety protocols, conducts regular safety inspections, and addresses any safety concerns to maintain a secure work environment.

Quality Control:

Monitors the quality of fabrication and erection, performs regular inspections, and ensures adherence to company standards and client requirements.

Resource Management:

Monitors and manages site resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, ensuring their efficient and economical utilization.

Documentation:

Prepares and maintains project-related documentation, such as progress reports, daily logs, quality control records, and meeting minutes.

Problem-Solving:

Identifies and resolves technical and logistical problems that arise during the erection process to keep the project on track.

Client Communication:

Communicates project updates to clients, addresses their inquiries, and ensures overall client satisfaction.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), steel erection, and fabrication processes. Strong technical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Proficiency in managing site operations and resources.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
