Job Description

The Site Engineer - NDT (Fresher) will assist in Non-Destructive Testing and quality inspection activities related to telecom tower erection and structural works, under the guidance of senior NDT and QA-QC personnel, to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior NDT engineers in conducting inspections on telecom tower structures, including weld joints, bolts, base plates, and steel members. Support NDT activities such as

VT, MT, PT, and UT

as per approved procedures and supervision. Help in preparation and maintenance of inspection records, test reports, and site documentation. Observe and follow approved inspection and test plans (ITP) and quality procedures. Coordinate with site engineers and erection teams during inspection activities. Ensure compliance with site safety rules, PPE usage, and telecom tower safety guidelines. Maintain proper handling and cleanliness of NDT equipment and consumables. Report observations, defects, or non-conformities to senior engineers for further action.
Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical / Civil / Engineering

or equivalent. Basic knowledge of steel structures and welding is desirable.

NDT Level I / Level II certification

(UT / MT / PT / VT) will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies

Willingness to learn NDT techniques and site quality practices. Basic understanding of engineering drawings and site activities. Good observation and documentation skills. Discipline, safety awareness, and attention to detail. Readiness to travel and work at multiple project sites.
Working Conditions

Site-based role involving outdoor work and inspections. May require work at height under supervision. Training and guidance will be provided.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
