Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute site activities related to

road works, highways, bridges, culverts, drains, and allied civil structures

. Interpret and implement

approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and method statements

at site. Ensure proper execution of

earthwork, embankment, sub-grade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, RCC works, PCC works, and drainage works

. Check

levels, alignments, gradients, and dimensions

as per drawings and standards. Coordinate with

contractors, subcontractors, labor teams, and machinery operators

for smooth site operations. Ensure availability and proper use of

materials, machinery, and manpower

. Conduct

quality control checks

for materials and workmanship as per

MoRTH / IRC / IS codes

. Maintain daily

site records, measurement books (MB), DPRs, bar bending schedules, and progress reports

. Monitor project progress and ensure work completion as per

approved timelines and schedules

. Identify site issues and provide technical solutions in coordination with senior engineers. Ensure strict adherence to

safety guidelines, site safety norms, and environmental standards

. Coordinate with

clients, consultants, and inspection authorities

during site inspections. Assist in

billing, quantity estimation, and certification of work done

. Ensure compliance with

contractual terms and technical specifications

. Report regularly to the

Project Manager / Senior Engineer

on site progress and issues.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of

road construction, highway projects, bridge works, and drainage systems

. Practical understanding of

surveying instruments, leveling, total station (basic knowledge preferred)

. Familiarity with

MoRTH, IRC, IS codes, and standard construction practices

. Ability to read and interpret

civil drawings and specifications

. Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office

. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site activities.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

2-3 years

of relevant site experience in

road, bridge, highway, and drainage projects

. Freshers with strong site exposure may also be considered (as per project requirement).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
