Job Description

The Site Engineer / Supervisor (Execution) will be responsible for on-site execution, supervision and coordination of HVAC, ducting, air cooling and door installation works. The role ensures that project activities are carried out safely, as per approved drawings, specifications and timelines, while maintaining quality and coordination with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:1. Site Execution & Supervision

Execute HVAC, ducting, air cooling and door installation works at site. Supervise technicians, fabricators, fitters and helpers. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ and specifications. Plan daily work activities and monitor progress.
2. Drawing & Technical Understanding

Study and understand HVAC layouts, ducting drawings and installation details. Mark layouts at site as per drawings. Coordinate with design team for clarifications and revisions, if required.
3. Material Handling & Coordination

Ensure timely availability of materials, tools and consumables at site. Coordinate with stores, factory and purchase team for material requirements. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to avoid damage or wastage.
4. Quality Control

Ensure quality of workmanship during installation of HVAC systems, ducting, insulation, grills, diffusers and doors. Carry out internal checks and rectify defects or snags. Ensure work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
5. Safety & Site Discipline

Ensure safety norms and PPE usage at site. Maintain discipline and housekeeping at site. Report unsafe practices or site hazards immediately.
6. Coordination with Other Agencies

Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and other contractors. Attend site meetings and coordinate day-to-day execution issues.
7. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records and material consumption details. Update seniors on work progress, challenges and requirements. Assist in preparation of measurements and completion documents.
8. Testing, Commissioning & Handover Support

Assist in testing, commissioning and balancing of HVAC systems. Support final inspection and handover activities.
Educational Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred) Candidates with relevant site experience may also be considered
Experience:

1 to 6+ years of experience in site execution of HVAC / ducting / mechanical works Experience in hospital, cleanroom, industrial or commercial projects preferred Fresh diploma holders with site exposure may also be considered
