Job Title: Site Engineer (L1)

Division/Department: Project Execution

Location: Calicut malapparamb Project Sites

Reports to: L2 Civil Project Co-ordinator

Job Summary:

The Site Engineer (L1) is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of construction activities at the site level, ensuring work is executed according to technical drawings, maintaining safety standards, and providing real-time data to the L2 Project Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Supervision & Execution:

- Supervise daily labor activities and ensure work progresses as per project schedule

- Verify construction is carried out as per approved drawings

- Manage and verify quality of materials received on-site

2. Reporting & Communication:

- Conduct daily brief calls with L2 Project Co-ordinator

- Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR)

- Report site-level bottlenecks or deviations to L2 Co-ordinator

3. Quality & Safety Control:

- Perform stage-wise quality checks

- Ensure site is maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner

- Ensure laborers follow basic safety protocols

4. Documentation & Coordination:

- Maintain site order book and visitor log

- Assist L2 Co-ordinator in measuring work for labor billing and material reconciliation

- Coordinate with local material suppliers

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience in residential or commercial construction projects

- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering

- Ability to read and interpret complex structural and architectural drawings

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel

- Strong verbal communication skills

- Valid 2-wheeler license and own vehicle for daily site travel
