Job Summary:
A reputed steel company based in Calicut is looking for a dynamic and dedicated
Site Engineer
to oversee and manage site operations across various project locations. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to outstation sites (such as Bangalore and Andhra Pradesh) and handle on-site execution, coordination, and reporting effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute steel structural works at the site as per the drawings and standards.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth site operations.
Monitor project progress and ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
Prepare and maintain daily site reports, attendance, and other documentation.
Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical issues on-site.
Ensure materials and manpower are optimally utilized.
Travel to different site locations as and when required.
Requirements:
Diploma or B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 1 year of site experience, preferably in steel structure or construction projects.
Good understanding of technical drawings and site management.
Willingness to travel frequently and stay at project locations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
