Job Summary:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of interior works at commercial office project sites. This includes coordination with contractors, supervising site activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, managing material flow, and maintaining safety protocols. The role requires technical proficiency, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise civil, electrical, HVAC, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, and finishing works as per drawings and BOQ. Ensure work is executed according to approved layouts, material specifications, and design intent. Conduct quality checks on workmanship, alignment, leveling, and finishing. Ensure proper sequence and planning of works (civil, MEP, furniture, partitions, etc.).
2. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with the design team for drawing clarifications and modifications. Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure timely execution. Provide daily updates to the project manager and client representatives. Attend coordination meetings with the client, consultants, and internal teams.
3. Material Management

Verify material deliveries, quality, and quantities as per the procurement schedule. Coordinate with the procurement team for sample approvals and material availability. Maintain on-site inventory and ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Highlight delays, bottlenecks, and issues with suggestions for resolution. Track project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved within the project schedule.
5. Drawing & Documentation Control

Maintain updated copies of all working drawings and details on-site. Verify implementation of changes as per revised drawings. Mark up as-built drawings during or after execution.
6. Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure safety compliance by workers and subcontractors. Maintain site cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations. Report incidents, accidents, or non-compliance immediately.

Job roles

:

Site survey, preparing site survey reports, Analyzing production drawings, coordinating with client and design team, updating daily work status and work volume to Project managers, Quality and quantity checking, verifying contractors bills and quantity, Arranging and purchasing materials for site, ensure safety manners in work site.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Fit-Out Management. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in commercial office interior execution. Skills: Knowledge of interior materials and execution techniques Familiarity with MEP coordination Proficiency in reading architectural/interior drawings Site issue troubleshooting MS Office, AutoCAD basics, and project tracking tools Strong communication and coordination abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
