Job Description

Job Purpose:

To oversee and execute installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems at project sites, ensuring work is carried out as per engineering standards, safety norms, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise site execution of instrumentation works (installation, cabling, tubing, and calibration). Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and ensure correct implementation at site. Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and fitters to ensure timely and quality work. Conduct loop checking, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of instruments. Ensure proper installation of transmitters, sensors, control valves, panels, junction boxes, and field devices. Troubleshoot and resolve site issues related to instrumentation. Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and communicate with project managers. Assist in material inspection, verification, and reconciliation at site. Act as site in-charge for instrumentation works, coordinating with clients and other engineering disciplines.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related engineering field. 2-5 years of site experience in instrumentation installation and commissioning (oil & gas, chemical, power, or industrial projects). Strong knowledge of instrumentation drawings and documentation. Hands-on experience with calibration, loop testing, and troubleshooting. Familiar with international codes and standards (ISA, IEC, ISO). Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Physical Requirements:

Willingness to work at project sites, including outdoor and plant environments. Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as per project requirements.

Pay: ₹800.00 - ?900.00 per day
