The Site Engineer is responsible for day-to-day site execution, supervision of work, coordination with contractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work as per drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and execute site work as per approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams on site
Ensure materials are received, checked, and used as per specifications
Take site measurements and prepare RA bills and measurement sheets
Maintain daily progress reports (DPR) and site records
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project managers for site activities
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety norms at site
Resolve site execution issues and report deviations immediately
Monitor work schedule and support timely project completion
Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline
Technical Skills Required
Knowledge of construction methods and site execution
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Basic knowledge of billing, measurements, and BOQ
Familiarity with MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and email communication
Qualifications
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Relevant site experience in construction / facade / interior projects
