Job Summary

The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising civil construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site. Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams. Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager. Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues. Manage material requirements, site inventory, and proper utilization. Verify measurements, prepare work progress reports, and assist in billing. Liaise with consultants, architects, and clients for technical clarifications. Ensure adherence to project timelines and cost control measures. Maintain site documentation, records, and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Valid certification or license (if required by local regulations).

Experience

5-10 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects
(residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects).

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and materials. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Familiarity with quality and safety standards. Good coordination and communication skills. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project (preferred). Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
