Site Engineer (Elevator Installation & Maintenance)

Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Field-based)
Experience:
3-5 years (Experience in the elevator/construction industry preferred)
Education:
B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of hydraulic and traction lifts. You will be the primary point of contact between our office and the client's site, ensuring safety standards and project timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial site surveys and technical measurements for lift shaft readiness.
Supervise the installation team and ensure work matches technical drawings.
Liaise with architects, builders, and clients regarding site progress.
Perform final testing, safety checks, and commissioning of the lift.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during the installation phase.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of elevator mechanics and control systems.
Ability to read engineering blueprints and CAD drawings.
Languages:
Proficiency in
Tamil
(essential for site communication) and English.
Must have a valid two-wheeler license for site visits.
