The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing infrastructure and renovation projects across Anderson Diagnostics centres. The role ensures timely project completion, adherence to quality standards, vendor coordination, and compliance with healthcare and laboratory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
Prepare project timelines, work schedules, and resource plans for new centre setups, renovations, and equipment installations.
Conduct site assessments, feasibility checks, and measurements for upcoming projects.
Ensure all project activities are completed within the scheduled timelines and approved budgets.
2. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior vendors for smooth execution of work.
Verify work progress, quality, and compliance with lab standards.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparison statements, and support vendor finalization.
3. Equipment Installation & Technical Support
Oversee installation of diagnostic equipment, sample processing units, UPS, electrical panels, CCTV, access control, and other technical infrastructure.
Coordinate with OEM engineers during setup and maintenance.
Ensure all systems function as per technical specifications.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all project works meet NABL/NABH standards and internal safety protocols.
Monitor safety measures during electrical, structural, and equipment-related works.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
5. Budgeting & Reporting
Assist in preparing project budgets and tracking expenditures.
Maintain daily project reports, progress updates, and handover documents.
Escalate delays or issues to the Operations Head/Project Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Diploma / BE in Civil,
Experience:
4-5 years of experience in project execution, preferably in hospitals, diagnostics, laboratories, or commercial building setups.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical layouts, civil work, and utility systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic/laboratory equipment installation (added advantage).
MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting.
Soft Skills:
Strong coordination and communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
