The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing construction plans, supervising on-site teams, ensuring work quality and safety, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all on-site civil construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Execute and monitor construction work schedules and progress.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to ensure smooth workflow.
Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports and documentation.
Ensure site safety and environmental compliance by enforcing safety regulations and standards.
Manage materials and resources efficiently to minimize wastage and downtime.
Resolve any unexpected technical issues or challenges that arise during construction.
Communicate project status and updates to project managers, architects, and engineers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in site engineering or civil construction projects.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and plans.
Familiarity with construction software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
