Job Description

We are seeking a versatile professional to oversee both Project & Facility Management (Maintenance) - (New Projects/Refurbishments). The ideal candidate will manage the lifecycle of commercial spaces, from initial layout and construction to daily preventive maintenance and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

New Project Setup

: Manage new project lifecycles including layout planning, construction, and equipment erection.

Refurbishment

: Oversee the renovation and upgrading of existing commercial/office spaces.

Architect Coordination

: Work closely with architects to review drawings and ensure technical feasibility.

Contractor Management

: Supervise civil, electrical, and networking contractors. This includes:

Civil: Brickwork, ply, and structural finishes.

Electrical & Networking: Overseeing cabling and power setups.

Plumbing & Sanitary: Managing wet works and drainage.

Furnishing: Sourcing and installation of chairs, tables, and workstations.

Timeline Management

: Ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe (e.g., 3-month project cycles).

2. Facility & Maintenance Management

Oversee the maintenance of all electrical systems including lifts, HVAC systems, Fire Safety equipment, Plumbing, and Civil repairs.

Implement schedules for building maintenance, water systems.

Manage pest control and general administrative facility tasks.

Ensure the premises are maintained to high standards of safety and functionality.

3. Administration & Procurement

Purchase Management

: Handle procurement of materials and labor for projects.

Vendor Management

: Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for various service providers.

Budgeting

: Assist in tracking project and maintenance costs.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background

: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

: Minimum 1 to 3 years in a similar role.

Technical Knowledge

: Civil works exposure, Fire safety norms, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. HVAC knowledge would be added advantage.

Candidate Profile

Strong coordination skills to manage multiple contractors simultaneously.

A "hands-on" approach to site supervision and problem-solving.

Ability to work within tight project windows

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
